New to the AME Awards®
REGIONAL & INTERNATIONAL AWARDS
The AME Awards® now awards winners both regionally and internationally. Each entry will initially be judged by a panel of regional jury members who have a clear understanding of the markets within that region, ultimately allowing for a more fair evaluation of each entry. All Gold winners from each region will then be judged by the entire AME® International GrandJury® spanning all 5 regions, culminating in the crowning of the newly created Platinum Award, for the best campaign from each region, as well as the International Grand AME®, presented to the best scoring entry from across the globe. This reorganized judging process allows entries to be judged with cultural and economic relevance within their own region by jurors with the most up to date knowledge of that particular market.
The 5 regions are:
North America
Latin America
Europe
Asia Pacific
Middle East & Africa
All Gold winners, selected from each of the five regions, will go on to be judged by an international GrandJury®. The GrandJury® will select winners, evaluating each campaign on the following criteria: how well it met its objective in its category and its overall impact in the marketplace.
NEW JUDGING PROCESS
The AME Awards® hold regional judging sessions for the preliminary and first rounds. This is designed to give each entrant the opportunity to have their work evaluated by jury members who have direct experience in that particular market and can dedicate more time and attention to each entry. This innovative process ultimately creates a fairer judging system, grouping entries from similar markets together.
Once Gold medals are determined from each region, these winners will then move on to the final/international round where each will be competing for the Platinum Award, presented to the top scoring Gold winner from each region. NOTE: In the event that there are no Gold winners in a particular region, no Platinum Award will be presented for that region.
The International Round will also determine the International Grand AME Award, presented to the highest scoring entry in the competition.
