  8. "Not enough supporting materials. I can't judge an entry's creativity without supporting materials"

10 Frequently Asked Questions about the AME Awards

  1. Does my entry have to be fully integrated campaign?

    No, you can now
    anything from a single print ad to a fully integrated campaign, as long as you can accurately prove its effectiveness and ability to engage the consumer.

  2. Can I enter the same campaign into multiple categories?

    Yes you can. If you feel as though a particular campaign can win in different categories, we encourage you to enter it into multiple categories. More awards! Should you have any questions, an AME Representative is here to assist you. Contact us at 1.212.643.4800

  3. Do I have to pay two entry fees in order to compete on both the regional and international level?

    No, each entry will advance to the international round should it score a Gold Medal. All Gold medals from each region are evaluated by the international GrandJury to determine the Platinum Awards given the region's top scoring entry; and the International Grand Award given to the AME Awards Best of Show in all regions.

  4. Can I submit one file with all of my supporting material?

    Yes, this is highly encouraged actually. The more concise and organized an entry is, the better. Jury members want to be able to evaluate an entry seamlessly, and submitting everything in one file accomplishes that.

  5. Can I mail in my entries?

    Yes. As soon as you receive the email sent after checkout, follow the provided link to the printable record of your entry.

    Note: All entries submitted using Offline Entry Forms are subject to an additional fee of 20% of entry cost.

  6. Can I create a video that documents the campaign for my entry?

    Yes, this is also highly encouraged. A video that clearly entries that clearly demonstrate the Challenge, Creativity, Execution, and Effectiveness of a campaign ultimately does the best job illustrating your campaign and creates a more positive experience for our jury members.   7. If I submit a video entry with all of the necessary information, do I need to reenter all of that information in the brief?

    No. Save all that time and simply type "See Video Entry" in the entry tables that pertain to the brief, the strategy and results section. It's as easy as that.

  8. How do the jury members score the entries?

    Judges are asked to evaluate specific criteria in scoring a marketing cases' overall effectiveness, and provide four separate scores analyzing specific attributes of the work. The following table is a breakdown of the scoring weight of each section.

  9. When are the AME winners announced?

    Winners will be announced in January 2011.
