Head of Brand Planning, ITV, London
Clare Phillips joined ITV in June 2013 to head up brand planning and is responsible for developing the marketing and communications strategy.
Before ITV, she headed up the research and insight team at Channel 4. Prior to this, she led the planning team at the BBC’s in-house agency Red Bee.
She cut her planning teeth at JWT working on a diverse range of businesses from FMCG brands such as Persil to luxury goods, such as De Beers. From JWT she moved to AMV where she was promoted to Planning Director working on The Economist, Sainsbury’s and BT.
Clare has won numerous effectiveness awards for her work including Gold, Silver and Bronze IPA Effectiveness Awards, Gold Effie, Marketing Society and Marketing Week awards. This year, Clare won Marketing Society's Award for Leading Edge Thinking for creating the Nation's Biggest Ever Sports Day, I Am Team GB. This event persuaded one million people to participate in sport - the biggest mass participation sports event in UK history.
