Kenny Hill is the founder and Creative Director of independent agency Akkomplice Group Australia.
His guiding philosophy is that “Logic makes people think, emotion makes people act” and he urges his clients to never lose sight of this. He’s also known to utter “There’s always a solution!” at least once a week and is highly regarded in the industry for his lateral thinking and work that delivers results with elegant simplicity.
Originally from Edinburgh, Kenny joined the industry some 20 years ago after gaining a degree in Marketing. It was in the famous Berkeley Square head office of J Walter Thompson that Kenny cut his teeth in the industry, learning from some of the best in the business. Australia then beckoned, with stints at M&C Saatchi, DDB, 303Lowe and JWT Sydney before Melbourne became home for Kenny where he was the Managing Director of M&C Saatchi before setting up Akkomplice in 2014.
Kenny has had the pleasure and great fortune to have collaborated on game-changing work with the likes of McDonald’s, Audi, Jaguar, the Royal Air Force, Kellogg’s, Optus, the Australian Government, Rimmel London, Herringbone, Qantas and Qantas Frequent Flyer. When he’s not hard at work, you’ll find him rowing with the Melbourne Argonauts or playing with his two beloved new puppies on Brighton Beach
