Executive Creative Director – FP7 MCCANN DXB
After 20 years working in London at ATL and digital agencies such as D’ARCY, JWT London, BMP DDB Needham, Agency.com and Campaigns Digital Agency of Decade - Dare Digital, Oliver decided to swap the English rain for the Arabian sun and take the Senior Creative Director role at FP7, part the McCann World Wide Group in 2015. In 2017 he was promoted to ECD. He is also the President of MENA McCann Creative Leadership Council - working with the local offices around the region to make the creative output stronger.
His unique experience of both ATL and Digital worlds is still rare in today’s advertising industry and gives him the unique ability to find solutions in any of today’s multitudinous channels. He’s also managed to pick up some personal awards along the way, from Grand Prix’s, Golds, Silvers and Bronzes, and too many shortlists at most of the major award shows around the world.
The one single, most important thing he’s learned in advertising over all these years is that for work to be truly successful it has to be daring. If it’s not, it’s just wallpaper. And nobody notices wallpaper.
