Management Director, Strategy – Team One, USA
Jen brings more than fifteen years of global strategic expertise to her role leading the strategic planning group at Team One. Her practice includes brand strategy, campaign planning, qualitative research, digital and content strategy, and cultural anthropology. She is also responsible for leading agency thought leadership initiatives and new business, with a focus on cultivating deep subject matter expertise in the cultural forces and personal attitudes shaping the landscape of today’s luxury marketplace.
Prior to joining Team One in 2014, Jen was Senior Vice President and leader of the strategy department at 22squared in Atlanta, where she rebuilt the planning group to reflect an integrated strategic practice that emphasized actionable business results and brought together the disciplines of account planning, strategic analytics, digital and social strategy, and business intelligence into one cohesive group. Previously, Jen held strategic leadership positions at Saatchi & Saatchi (Los Angeles) and Liquid (San Francisco), and has also run her own successful brand consulting practice. Jen is a frequent industry speaker, panelist, and awards judge, and has cultivated deep understanding of the contemporary global affluent consumer as part of her strategic expertise.
Over the course of her career, Jen has had the opportunity to work on brands including Lexus, Toyota, Polaris, Microsoft, The Home Depot, Sony, and Barnes & Noble. Jen studied finance at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, and conducted postgraduate work in communications at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. When not strategizing, Jen can be found competing her horses in three-day eventing, hiking with her herding dogs, or mixing up a pretty stellar Manhattan.
