Raphael Ang

Raphael took a Bachelor Degree in Chinese Literature in Taipei. After a short stint in Taiwan as an editor in publishing company, Raphael went to UK’s Birmingham City University to have a further study of Master Degree in Visual Communication. 

He returned to Malaysia in 1996 and started his advertising career as a Chinese Copywriter with Batey Ads. Then he has spent 3 years at Publicis Malaysia.

He was part of Havas Worldwide for a few years where he had the opportunity to lead a Maybank Merdeka campaign “Racial Harmony” and had it presented to the then Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir. The campaign was very successful. 

After spending almost 2 years in Saatchi & Saatchi, he joined Naga DDB as Head of Copy in Chinese Division. Raphael has vast experience of Chinese market segment and lecturing Advertising.He was Head of Advertising Department in SEGi International College and part-time lecture in UTAR.  

He has also bagged more than 80 International and local awards, which include UK’s D&AD Awards, London International Awards (LIA) Chinese, ADFest Awards, Grand Longxi Awards, Malaysia Effie Awards and Kancil Awards. He has served as a jury member for prestigious platforms such as the LIA Chinese, Shanghai International Advertising Festival (SHIAF), and multiple editions of the Kancil Awards.

Raphael (洪绍谦) 就读于台湾政治大学中文系,毕业后在台北人合物力出版社任职编辑,随后前往英国攻读伯明翰城市大学视觉传播硕士学位。

1996年他回归马来西亚开启广告生涯。他的第一家广告公司是在国际百帝广告公司任职中文创意工作。隔年,他转战阳狮国际广告公司。他在灵智广告公司负责马来亚银行案子时,所提出的《种族和谐》广告系列深受当时首相马哈迪的赞赏。

他随后在上奇国际广告公司及Naga DDB Tribal 广告公司继续推崇中文本地创作,曾负责寰宇电视、DiGi、Tiger啤酒、丰隆银行、屈臣氏等品牌的中文创意工作。

他除了在广告界拥有超过20多年的经验,同时曾担任SEGi 世纪大学广告系主任及曾在马来西亚拉曼大学授课。

他荣获超过80个国际及马来西亚广告奖,这包括了D&AD广告奖、伦敦国际奖(LIA) 华文创意、ADFest亚太广告奖、龙玺广告奖、马来西亚Effie 广告奖及灵鹿广告奖。他也分别在伦敦国际奖(LIA) 华文创意、上海国际广告节、马来西亚灵鹿广告奖等担任评审。

Jeremy Guo

Having earned a degree in advertising from Shanghai University, Jeremy joined McCann in 2006. During his time at SGM Works/McCann, he worked for GM brands - Chevrolet and Cadillac for nearly 10 years. He then focused on brand Coca-Cola and some public service projects. During his time with McCann he spent one leap year in English study and subsequently went to New York City and worked as a photographer assistant.

In 2017, Jeremy became the co-founder of MATCH Communications.

As visiting professor at Jilin Animation College, instructor at ONE SHOW China Youth Innovation Camp, and a member of Longxi Youth Award Jury Board, Jeremy guides the upcoming generation on their path as promising creative talents.

Lili was born and grew up in Shanghai. After her 5 years career as a mandarin copywriter with DDB Shanghai, she moved to Hong Kong and worked with Leo Burnett for Rejoice and feminine brand Whisper and some local accounts such as Nin Jiom, Hang Seng Bank, Harmony House etc. In late 2015, she joined Cheil Hong Kong and was in charge of both multinational & local blue chip clients i.e. Swire, Samsung, Samsonite, Friso, American Tourister,K11,Save The Children,1O1O, MTR and many more.
 

During her advertising career, her work has been recognised by all the major global , regional and local creative award shows, including: Cannes Lions, D&AD, the One Show, London International Awards, CLIO, ADFEST, Spikes Asia ,New York Festivals, Ad Stars, MUSE Creative Awards, Kam Fan and Long Xi Awards.

Most notably, her JBL ‘Block Out The Chaos’ campaign/ Chupa Chups ‘A Sweet Escape’ campaign were instrumental in making Cheil Hong Kong the #3 most awarded agency in Asia by Campaign Brief magazine. She also achieved the #4 the hottest creative in Asia.

我在2001年到2016年期間一直在營業部門服務,服務過Canon、CTX、ICBC、G-jun PC School、E.Sun Bank、Boots、The Macallan、The Famous Grouse、HeySong、 Hitachi、Nintendo、Watsons、Asahi Kasei Housen等國際性及本土性客戶;在2016年7月,我開始帶領Solution Management Group,負責管理策略企劃、數位行銷、製作以及成效創意中心等單位,同時也推動各項轉型專案。

2024年1月開始,我被授予了營運長一職,除了繼續帶領Solution Management Group外,也開始負責公司的營運策略及營運管理,並且也帶領一個營業單位,負責American Express等客戶。

 

I joined Taiwan Dentsu in 2001 and have accumulated around 24 years of experience in advertising—all within the same company.

From 2001 to 2016, I worked in the Account Service department, serving both international and local clients such as Canon, CTX, ICBC, Gjun PC School, E.Sun Bank, Boots, The Macallan, The Famous Grouse, HeySong, Hitachi, Nintendo, Watsons, and Asahi Kasei Homes.

In July 2016, I began leading the Solution Management Group, overseeing teams responsible for strategic planning, digital marketing, production, and performance-driven creative. I also played a key role in driving various transformation initiatives within the company.

Starting in January 2024, I was appointed as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, I continue to lead the Solution Management Group while also taking on responsibilities for the company's operational strategy and management. Additionally, I lead one of our account teams, handling clients such as American Express.

He describes himself as “Shanghai native, Chinese heart, Global perspective.” He started his journey from Saatchi & Saatchi as copywriter in 1997. Only after 9 years, he became the first local CD in the group.  He joined in TBWA as GCD in 2012, and after 2 years, he became the first local ECD in China‘s mainstream 4A agencies. In H2015, he joined in Ho Communication as CCO & Partner.In 2018, HO Communication was acquired by Accenture Interacitive. He joined in VMLY&R as ECD in 2021. And in 2023, He joined in WE-RedBridge as Creative Partner.

His professional skillsets go beyond integrated communication ideation, and more importantly, as a creative partner he plays a critical role in practical strategy and communication development with measurable effectiveness. Gordon has abundant experience in building brand architecture with clients in very early stage of brand building.

Randal Zhao, CEO of Fanren Advertising, graduated from Fudan University with a bachelor's degree and obtained an IMBA from the University of Hong Kong. Before founding Fanren Advertising in 2017, he was the VP of Socialab, in charge of the Shanghai office. In 2019, Fanren Advertising won the Gold Award for Best Social Impact and Best Print at the London International Chinese Awards with the UnionPay Baifu Picture.

In terms of strategy, they have assisted Meituan Hotel, Meituan Group Buying, and Minsheng Bank in developing new brand strategy positioning and brand upgrades, and helped LILANZ restructure its down jacket product strategy and implement differentiated marketing. In terms of creativity, they have assisted China UnionPay in creating the Baifu Picture IP and the Givers Alliance IP.
