In the interview below Jacopo weighs in on why effectiveness competitions are important and what he'll be looking for when awarding stand out effective work.

AME Awards: Why are effectiveness competitions like the AME Awards important?

Jacopo “Apo” Bordin: Let's say that the CMOs have seen brighter days, especially within the C-suite of their own companies. As agencies, we feel this pressure directly: less budget, less courage, fewer relationships. In this scenario, effectiveness awards like the AME Awards become ever so important to strengthen the CMO role and recognize effective partnerships between clients and agencies.

AME Awards: As a creative strategist, what stand-out attributes do you recognize in award-winning creative effective advertising?

Jacopo “Apo” Bordin: Three key attributes which reflect our method at TWENTY8 Studios. We call it QPM™: Question what is. Provoke what could be. Make it magical. I’ll be looking for work that questions conventional wisdom to provoke unconventional perspectives. All of this to get to magical work. Work that is not only effective, but that is also interesting, that makes us feel something.
